How we handle the information you share with us — in plain language.

Onus Web Solutions ("Onus", "we", "us") operates onusweb.com and the Onus client portal. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
The short version
We collect only what we need to answer your enquiries, schedule calls, and run our client services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the site, and nothing more.
Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, optional company name, and your message.
- Booking a call: your name, email address, any notes you add, and the time slot you choose.
- Client portal: if we set up an account for you, your email address (used for passwordless sign-in), your name and role, your company, the support tickets and file attachments you submit, and your billing status.
- Automatically: basic server logs and your IP address, used only to keep the service secure and to limit abuse (for example, rate-limiting form submissions). We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiries and schedule intro calls.
- To provide the client portal, support tickets, and file sharing.
- To process payments and send service-related emails (such as sign-in links, booking confirmations, and ticket updates).
- To protect the site against spam, fraud, and abuse.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in to the client portal. It is not used for advertising or tracking. Our bot-protection provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a cookie to tell humans from bots on the sign-in page.
Service providers
We rely on the following providers purely to deliver our service. They process your information only as needed to perform their function, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Railway — application hosting and database.
- Resend — sending transactional email.
- Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store full card details).
- Google Calendar — scheduling intro calls and creating meeting links.
- Cloudflare — bot protection (Turnstile) and file storage (R2) for portal attachments.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. Email us at hello@onusweb.com and we will respond promptly.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and sign-in is passwordless (a secure one-time link by email), so there are no passwords for us to store or for anyone to steal.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
